We’re in the process of setting up a workstation and fume extraction, but the cutter can still be used. Ask about an introduction to laser cutting on the forum, or in person at one of our meetings.

The laser cutter is a 60W machine with a bed area 70cm by 50cm. It can be used for cutting and etching materials such as wood and acrylic, but not for cutting metals.

The software is freely available, and we’re working on making it simpler to use.
